WSPTU Policy Forum on Saturday February 2nd

Come along to the first WSPTU Policy Forum of 2013.

This will be the first Policy Forum meeting since the release of the NSW Long Term Transport Masterplan so there will be plenty to talk about, including our WSPTU 'core business' interest of finding ways to get improved bus stop infrastructure in Greater Western Sydney.

Who: The WSPTU Policy Forum is for active member groups of the WSPTU. If you would like to be part of the WSPTU, be part of a group, or form a group, come along and talk to WSPTU members.
When: Saturday Feb 2nd, 1pm - 4pm
Where: Level 4, 146 Marsden St, Parramatta (at WSCF) near the corner of Macquarie St.
Bring: It's always good to bring something nice to share to eat.

This is very close to Parramatta train station and bus interchange and is on the route of the free Parramatta Shutttle bus.

  1. This is a good start for the year. Can we have a discussion on trackwork at the meeting as this is something that the Minister has indicated she wants to improve. Some years ago a policy used to exist ( possibly never publicily written down that trackwork could only be conducted four times per year on each line. However this discipline of managing maintenacne in this way seems to have been put by the wayside. I think Trackwork would make for good policy discussion.

    Any other ideas out there?
